Zadorozny Becomes a Blackhawk

Nathan Zadorozny Signs With Thorold

Looking local paid off for the Thorold Staff as they set their sights on the Niagara North U18 AAA team this past season and came out with foward Nathan Zadorozny

“Nathan Zadorozny had an exceptional season with the Niagara North Stars of the SCTA. Potting 23 points in 32 games along with 8 points in the post-season where he really shined. He is an agile skater who plays hard at both ends of the ice. It is hard to find a player that plays as hard as he does yet is still disciplined enough to have only taken 6 minor penalties all season. On top of all that he protects the puck exceptionally well, kills penalties, and is great at hitting the open man on the move to create offense. Zadorozny should fit in well at the GOJHL level.” – Eastern Ontario Scout Devin McCloy

“Nate is another player who has played and skated with me in summers and AP’d with us as a 15 yr old. His work ethic in all 3 zones is what we really value in his game and he also brings speed, skill, and ability to play different positions. His character off the ice is will make him a welcome addition to the locker room. We are very excited to get Nate into the fold.” – Head Coach and General Manager Scott Barnes

Welcome aboard Nathan

Aidan Leblanc Signs With Thorold

Aidan Leblanc

Aidan Leblanc will be joining the flock for next season, here is what some of the staff have to say about Leblanc and his play

“Watching Leblanc over the past season was a treat. playing for a heavily individually skilled team Leblanc played terrifically in his role as a tall quick winger with the ability to not only help his team on the attacking end of the ice but also while defending in his own zone. This 200-foot type of play made the decision easy for us to want to bring Aidan on for next season as we push to be a quick young team. Aidan will be a fun player to keep an eye on for the 2020-21 season” – Head Scout Joshua Lemire

“Getting to know Aidan over the past couple years and coaching him both in summer and as an ap for us last year, I feel he will be a great addition to our team both on and off the ice. His size, skill and speed will be a welcome addition to our team.” – Head Coach and General Manager Scott Barnes
