With the regular season wrapping up Friday night in Niagara Falls, the Hawks turn their attention to the first round of the GOJHL playoffs and their first-round matchup. The Blackhawks finish the regular season with a record of 15 wins 31 losses and 1 shootout loss for a total of 31 points on the season giving them the 6 seed in the Golden Horseshoe Conference. With that, your Blackhawk set up for a first-round meeting with the 3-seed Caledonia Corvairs. The Corvairs (31-11-2-2) look to be the favourites to win it all along with the St.Catharines Falcons and the Hamilton Kilty Bs but will have to look to get through the Blackhawks first who are on the right foot being winners of 6 of their last 10 games including a shootout loss to the Corvairs on March. 14th
The Blackhawks will look to remain healthy and stay hot with great play from forwards Sam Tonelli and Adrian Diodati who combine for a total of 17 points in March. Meanwhile, the Corvairs will look to former Sarnia Sting Goalie Ethan Langevin to provide some stability on the back end while forward Ethan Doyle will look to continue his almost 2 points per game pace in the playoffs.
